Audra Kopp
Who I Am
Hi, I’m Audra Kopp—a coach at heart and a leader by design. Whether I’m guiding students, leading a team, or managing a project, my greatest passion is helping people grow. Coaching has always been more than just a job to me—it’s my ministry. I’m currently a Project Manager III at Liberty University, where I use my leadership and coordination skills to support academic initiatives—but at the center of it all is a desire to build up and empower others.
My Journey
Before stepping into project management, I served as a Career Coach II where I managed over 700+ individual sessions annually, facilitated 25+ career development workshops, and led initiatives that boosted student engagement by 323% in 2022 and 91% in 2023. I was honored to be named Top Performing Career Coach at Liberty in 2023. My academic background includes a Master’s in Human Services Counseling (Life Coaching) and a Bachelor’s in Psychology: Counseling with a minor in Studio Art. I’ve also completed a 300+ hour internship supporting families in crisis in Washington, D.C.
Where I’m Headed
I’m actively seeking roles where I can lead with purpose and coach with intention—whether that’s as a Career Coach, Employment Specialist, Career Services Leader, or in a people-centered project management role. I’m at my best when I’m supporting others in their journey, building high-trust teams, and helping people step into their calling. Leadership, to me, means serving others well—and that’s exactly what I’m called to do.
How I Coach
Using the COACH Model by Keith Webb
Coaching is not simply giving advice—it’s about guiding you to find your own unique skills and abilities in addition to finding answers and building confidence. I use the COACH Model developed by Keith Webb, which provides a clear, step-by-step framework to support meaningful growth and lasting change.
What is the COACH Model?
The COACH Model is an acronym that stands for:
- Connect: Building a trusting, open relationship
- Outcome: Identify and clarify the client’s desired outcome or goal
- Awareness: Gain a holistic perspective of the client and stimulate thinking/new options
- Course: Help the client create achievable and time-bound action steps
- Highlights: Focus on meaningful conversations and celebrate progress
How I Use the COACH Model
With every coaching conversation, I focus on connecting deeply and observing carefully to understand my client’s unique story. I ask intentional questions that help them uncover their unique strengths, gifts, and abilities. Together, we choose practical steps forward, and I stay by my client’s side to hold them accountable, celebrate wins, and help navigate obstacles.
This model ensures coaching isn’t just a one-time session—it’s a collaborative journey toward lasting transformation.
